Cooking & Crafts

Creativity at it’s best to support a good cause!  Last night over 200 women gathered at Kells Presbyterian Church for an evening of cooking, crafts, and laughs.  This evening was put together by a group of ladies who had seen the terrible effects of Meningitis.  They raised money to help support research to fight against Meningitis.  To learn more about the Meningitis research foundation, visit their website or to view Northern Ireland’s local Meningitis contacts through the Trust, visit their website.

At the event, I demonstrated how to make a scrumptious, moist Passion Cake – which is similar to a carrot cake, but with added goodness to make it more rich.  I topped it with a
delectable Philadelphia cream cheese icing and garnished it with luxurious chocolate leaves and chocolate curls.

Local crafters oozed with talent…

Goosebumps… Unique handcrafted wedding stationary favours & gifts, greetings cards, wall plaques, DIY craft kits & craft evenings.

How cute is this teapot?!!!
